powders, waxes, lubricants, cornstarch, gum varnishes, wetting agents and active
agents and dryers purchased from outside suppliers. The ingredients are measured,
blended and milled to produce the required smoothness of the ink being produced. Fluid
inks may be placed in tanks and diluted, while other inks are pumped into drums, cans
or tubes.

This classification also includes the manufacturing of polishes such as shoe polish,
furniture polish, automobile polish, harness polish, and metal polish. The ingredients
and process will vary depending upon the product being made. The ingredients,
received from outside suppliers may include oils, waxes, resins, colors, dyes, solvents,
clays, whiting, abrasive powders and detergents. The process may involve ingredients
being measured and mixed cold, heated or cooked and blended according to specific
formulas.

This classification also contemplates the manufacturing of paste or mucilage made from
powder or granule arabic gum or dextrines received from outside suppliers along with
preservatives and plastic or glass containers and caps. These materials are mixed and
cooked in a steam-jacketed mixer, then pumped to a filling area where containers are
filled, labeled, and capped for shipment to the customer.
